Since 2016, Visual Edge has specialized in luxury real estate photography in the Sarasota and surrounding areas. We provide visual marketing services to real estate agents, property managers, home owners, interior designers and home stagers. Our services showcase the best of their space, regardless if its a home for sale, a vacation rental, a design project or a new model home. We produce stunning, high-quality images and video, which are sure to engage and captivate your viewers. VEP (Visual Edge Photography) started with and continues to offer 3 Base Services: Photography, Cinematic Walk-through Videos and Matterport 3D Virtual Tours. We have grown to add on several additional enhancements for your properties, which you will see mentioned through out the site (virtual staging, aerials, day to dusk, twilights and more).When we began, it was one person, our Founder Angela, figuring it out, networking like crazy and entering the industry in full force. VEP was an immediate member of the Realtor Association of Sarasota + Manatee (RASM) and Angela joined the Young Professionals Network (YPN) from day 1. The following year she served on the YPN Committee, awarded as YPN Member of the Year, with the next year serving as Vice Chair and the following after that as YPN Chair. VEP was always heavily involved with both Sarasota and Manatee Women’s Council of Realtors and served on the Business Partner Committee at RASM. We love being able to give back to our community and partnering with others in our network to be able to do so. Since our start, we have since grown to be a team of four and the dynamic amongst the group is like none other. We pride ourselves on our fun personalities and being easy to work with. We are all crazy perfectionists, extremely detailed and uber creative. When you get us together, the laughter and ability to bounce ideas off each other is intoxicating. Shyla was born and raised in Rhode Island, then lived in NYC for ten years before settling down in Sarasota.
Shyla met Angela a few years ago through a mutual friend. She learned the ins and outs of real estate photography and the rest is history. She’s happy working with Visual Edge and so grateful their paths crossed!
When Shyla is not photographing real estate, she’s running her portrait photography business, Shylarose Photography. She loves the beach and gardening, and spends her free time with her husband Casey, dog Stanley, and cat Henry.

Owner
Angela holds a BFA in Interior Design, however graduating in 2008 at the fall of the world made it pretty tough to get her start into the field. Many jobs along the way led her to a Retail Management career for several large companies that gave her tons of business experience. In 2010, after falling in love with her aunt’s camera, she was gifted her first DSLR by her Hubby. Two years later her side-gig [Angela Moon Photography] was born and she was officially making money photographing people’s most special moments. This photography business was her passion and finally in 2016 she decided enough was enough and quit her management career to try her hand at photography full time. Some really great friends in the industry sparked the idea that real estate photography made sense to help supplement her income since it merged the two passions, photography + interior design. This is how Visual Edge was born and has grown each year ever since. Now an entrepreneur[x2] she finds herself very busy between the two, but also VERY happy to be living her dream. Angela and her hubby have been married for 10 years and are the lucky fur parents to two adorable mini-dachshunds [for now]. She LOVES to travel, loves fitness, especially running, cycling and yoga. She loves sports, entertaining friends and is a HUGE wine snob when she isn’t obsessing over coffee. She is very much into self-care/personal development and focusing on the simpleness of life. You will probably always hear her talk about the Universe or anything space related [nerd alert]. She loves to learn new things. She most recently became a MAJOR plant mom, with over 200 babies in her jungle. She loves a good backyard fire, game nights and chillin in the hot tub. She is a child of the stars… living by the sun and loving by the moon.
